Genius Gems is an indoor, STEM-based play space that teaches children to learn through play. The facility employs Magna Tiles, a magnetic construction and assembly toy, as its primary vehicle for its creative educational programs.
The design for their first location expressed the company's ethos visually and functionally to create an immersive experience for their program's participants. Features include wall-mounted marker boards and paper boards for drawing and designing, magnetic wall boards for modeling and construction; and movable, modular furniture and work stations that can be assembled in various configurations for group or individual play.
