While at Abramson Teiger Architects, Mr. Elias worked closely with Knoll's in-house New York-based designers on the planning and design of this 15,000 square foot showroom. Special attention was paid to providing the best setting possible for Knoll's iconic furniture pieces by Eero Saarinen, Charles Pollock and Marcel Breuer, among others.
The building in which the showroom is located was under construction while Knoll was improving its tenant space. Alexander closely coordinated Knoll's efforts with those their contractor and the building's contractor. The project was well-received and published in LA Architect's April 2001 issue.
