Resilient Hope is the City of Newark’s project for transitional housing. Planned for Munn Ave., just South of the East Orange line, the project will provide housing and support services for unhoused Newark residents. The goal of the project is to enable formerly unhoused persons to transition to permanent housing.
The design proposes 26, 2-bedroom modular units in a 2-story stacked arrangement. The buildings will include laundry facilities, management and security offices, and a support services building. The buildings are designed to provide a functional and dignified place for residents to develop the skills and establish the economic security required to acquire and maintain permanent housing.
