YESHIVA UNIVERSITY GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL

Alexander Elias worked with Trevor Abramson, FAIA, the architect of record, on the design of renovations and additions to this secondary school. As Project Architect, Mr. Elias was responsible for the design development and construction documentation of the project where he managed an in-house team of five architects and draftsmen and coordinated the services of out-of-house engineers. The project required several discretionary approvals from the Los Angeles Planning Department, and Mr. Elias worked closely with religious leaders at the Simon Weisenthal Center and the local City Council Office to generate community support for the project. The project added 13,000 square feet that included a 2-story library and a gymnasium; doubling the size of the existing facility.
